| Our Church History | ||||
Pastor Dale Heffernan and his wife came to Wichita in 1986 to start Midland Baptist Church. There was no independent baptist church west of "the big ditch." Starting in an elementary school the Lord brought together a smalll group of people who had a vision for a strong Bible-based work. In 1996 the present building was dedicated and the work slowly grew to fill the small facility. |

| Realizing that more room was needed the church prayed for more land. The Lord has provided 34 acres in a great location at Ridge Road and K-96. Future plans include selling our existing building and moving to the new location with a greater ability to reach more people for Christ and imjpact the communinty with clear biblical truths. |  |
